Board of Directors
The Board of Directors attends to the management of the Company and the due organisation of the Company’s operations. The Board of Directors supervises and monitors the Company’s active management, appoints and dismisses the CEO and approves the major decisions affecting the Company’s strategy, investments, organisation, the management’s remuneration scheme and finances.
In accordance with the Digital Workforce’s Articles of Association, the Company has a Board of Directors comprised of a minimum of three and a maximum of eight members. The members of the Board of Directors are elected in the Annual General Meeting for a term that ends at the end of the Annual General Meeting following their election.
Independence of the Board of Directors
The board members Miika Huttunen, Marika Auramo, and Leena Niemistö are independent of the company and its significant shareholders. Chairman of the Board Heikki Länsisyrjä and members of the Board Juha Mikkola and Jukka Virkkunen are not independent of the company or its significant shareholders.
