Digital Workforce is established in Oslo and nominates Country Manager
Digital Workforce established itself as a Nordic company when the company opened an office in Oslo in 2017. Odd-Henrik Hansen leads the Norwegian operation. His goal is to help Norwegian organizations to establish new competitive advantages, as well to achieve their profit goals. For public organizations, he will help to release employees from routine tasks so that knowledge workers can focus on value-creating services. Process Automation (RPA) will reduce cost, increase quality in critical workflows, and affect transaction speeds for better customer or citizen service. This is achieved by employing digital employees.
We present Odd-Henrik Hansen
Odd-Henrik has extensive experience in selling and delivering software and consulting services to private and public organizations. Hansen has broad international and national experience from former employers such as Tieto, Software Innovation, EVRY, Microsoft Norway, Oracle Norway, Oracle EMEA and NICE AS. The decision to switch from a major corporate business to a start-up and a growth company was driven by personal motivation.
“I missed the start-up dynamics and the ability to shape a business from the beginning. Digital Workforce has experienced incredible growth in Finland and Sweden, and my team aims to build on the company’s strong Nordic approach and combine global capacity with local presence “explains Hansen.
The Norwegian potential
It is interesting to see that the public sector is early adopters and take an innovator role in the use of technology for automation of the organizations work processes. One of the reasons for this early adoption from the public sector is an established digitization strategy, developed in 2013/14 by former Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg. Jan Tore Sanner, Minister of Local Government and Modernization, has continued to work on the innovative use of IT to improve the services from public organizations.
The possibilities for automation of business processes by using robotics are vast. RPA technology can be used across the business from HR, customer service, production to financials and operations. According to Odd-Henrik, Norwegian companies are under pressure to introduce new solutions that contribute to cost effective operation with increased quality in their work processes. In particular, the bank and insurance industry has successfully taken robotics into successful operations. This development in the financial sector is an increasing trend also within other industries and is expected to pick up more momentum in the years to come. It is clear that the RPA technology will outperform several of the more traditional IT investments.
“Digital Workforce has new innovative solutions that can support the implementation of Norwegian organizations digitization strategies in a better and more efficient way.”, Says Odd-Henrik
